Vortex Liquid Color, located in Sheboygan, WI celebrated 25 years in the color business.

On August 15th, 2023, Vortex held a small gathering at their corporate office and manufacturing plant in Sheboygan, WI.
Those in attendance included customers, past and present employees, and previous ownership.
The current owner, Andy Ubhi, was quick to introduce and thank the previous owner/founder, Brock Brownrigg, who established the company until he sold it to Ubhi in 2020.
About 28 years ago, Peter Bemis, an iconic business owner, customer, and friend, asked Brownrigg to find a solution to color plastics with liquid color. After a few years of collaboration and encouragement from Bemis, Brownrigg, owner of Sheboygan Paint Company, created a solution, found a location, and in 1998 introduced Vortex Liquid Color.

When Brownrigg was ready for retirement, he was very selective with potential buyers for the company. It was important that certain standards and policies would remain in place for the future. On Tuesday, Brownrigg addressed those in attendance stating that he was confident that when he accepted the offer from Ubhi to purchase Vortex, Ubhi would grow the company, while at the same time keeping the family atmosphere that he had prided himself with.
Ubhi went on to thank all previous and present employees. He stressed his appreciation for their hard work, thanking them for their continued belief that liquid is the best way to color plastics, and for remaining so dedicated.

In wrap up for the anniversary celebration, a dedication award was given to five current employees for their service and longevity, ranging from 15-25 years. Those in attendance were given an appreciation lunch along with a commemorative anniversary special edition t-shirt and tumblers.
Vortex Liquid Color would like to thank all its customers over the years and look forward to expanding its customer base even further over the next 25 years.
With the purchase of Vortex Liquid Color, Peacock Colors, and newly acquired Poly Compounding, Ubhi is confident that among his three companies, he will be able to offer color solutions and products for many more generations to follow.
